Repair Quote Information

Get a Free Quote * for any of our barcode repair services.  We offer a range of service options including: Annual Contracts, Flat Rate, Time and Materials, and our Three-Tier Method.  Typical time line for repair quote is 5 business days from receipt of equipment and typical turn around is 1 to 2 business days from reciept of PO, both are subject to change due to parts availability and scheduling.  Most repairs are completed using used or non-OEM parts at a cheaper cost, which is passed onto the customer, without sacrificing quality and durability.

Repair Service Options

Time and Materials

All items are evaluated and repair(s) are recommended based on the time plusthe cost of materials/parts. Worn or broken parts will be noted as "Optional" repairs when device integrity is unaffected. All other items noted are considered crucial. The Customer will choose which components are repaired.

Three-Tier Method

Pricing (per unit/incident) Device-Specific, Call for Quote

• Tier One- Software issues, minor components.
• Tier Two- Keypads, touch screen, scan engine (except Lorax, EX25), some internal parts.
• Tier Three- Everything not covered by Tiers One or Two within the defined specifications of the manufacturer for moisture, pressure, shock, temperature and voltage.

Annual Contract

Covers usage within the defined specifications of the manufacturer for moisture, pressure, shock, temperature and voltage (damage not covered will be charged at time and material rates). Equipment must be in working condition at outset of contract. Customer paysshipping to us, we pay return shipping via UPS ground within the lower 48 states, unless Customer opts for fastershipping method.

Flat Rate

Equipment covered by flat rate will be subject to agreed-upon terms prior to the equipment being sent into Barcode Re-Sourcing. Flat rate typically covers all component failure(s) but does not cover abuse

General Terms and Conditions:

• Shipping to and from Barcode Re-Sourcing by Customer unless annual contract.
• Quote generated within 5 business days of receipt of equipment. Repair made within 1-2 days from receipt of Customer PO. These times may be subject to change.
• Most repairs are completed using NOS (New Old Stock), USED or non-OEM parts with no loss in quality and durability. This lower cost is passed on to the Customer.
• Please contact us for our current labor rates.
• There is a $65.00 minimum service fee for each device evaluation. However, repairs that involve correcting software, flashes, and configuration cannot be undone and therefore the minimum service fee will be equal to a Tier 1 repair for that device. Please contact us for Tier 1 pricing.
• Barcode Re-Sourcing Inc. allows up to 90 days from the time that the repair quote is sent to the time that the customer responds with a PO for the full price of the repair or for evaluation fees if the repair is declined. In the event that a customer does not respond a PO or payment for the services quoted within 90 days, then Barcode Re-Sourcing will take ownership of the customer’s equipment.
